Becoming A Part Of Main Source

Becoming a part of Main Source was something totally unexpected. I was hanging with my good friend, and manager at the time Mike Beasley. We were at Hush Productions, which was owned by Mike’s cousins Charles & Beau Huggins. Someone was tapping a beat on the grand piano that was downstairs. I was kicking rhymes as I usually did, when Jeff Redd stopped and said “YO!! I know a group that’s already established that’s looking for a rapper!!” He wouldn’t tell us who it was, but he gave us an address and phone number to Tandy Weems. The next day Mike and I were at that address. We were introduced to Sir Scratch, who asked me to kick something for him. He was impressed, so he got his brother K Cut on the phone, and I kicked more rhymes. The connection was made right then and there. The rest is HISTORY!!!
